About the Foodie Company Ltd
The Beginning
The Foodie Company launched on the 16th of November 2007. I (Peter McLean) founded the company having just graduated form Napier University, Edinburgh in Hospitality Management and I am pleased to report it has gone from strength to strength.

So what's the company all about?
Foodieboxes is the first brand to launch within The Foodie Company, providing Modern Scottish Hampers to corporate and retail customers. It is a familiar entrepreneurial story but it did start from my bedroom and has grown into a 1000sqft industrial unit, all within the one year. Foodieboxes aims to breathe life back into hampers and support young Scottish food manufacturing companies at the same time.
I am hugely passionate about locally sourced food and it is my job to scour Scotland for the best. It is also very exciting to be able to send Scottish food all over the world, to expats, friends, family and of course those people we just want to boast to about Scottish food. We have a fantastic range of pre-selected Foodieboxes for different occasions like Christmas Hampers which are crammed full of goodies or you can use our popular make your own Bespoke Hampers Foodiebox function. This allows you to create your own unique Foodiebox to the tastes of the recipient.

Where We Are
The Foodie Company is located in a lovely 1000sqft industrial unit in Newbridge. Ironically we are situated just behind MacDonald’s off the Newbridge roundabout. So please feel free to visits Foodie HQ anytime for a cup of tea and an oat crumble. Fellow Foodies are always welcome.
